If the time period for an interpretation is, for example, given as "July 1, 1993 (June 15, 1993 to July 15, 1993)", then it starts in mid-June, reaches greatest intensity around July 1, and ends in mid-July. The first date listed is the time when the influence has reached maximum strength; we can call this date the "peak date".
